Our Service

The Resuscitation Service at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust provides adult and paediatric Advanced and Immediate Life Support courses. This service is insistent on providing an unrivalled quality that is underpinned by;

  • Credible clinical experience in the field of deteriorating patient care and resuscitation that is tested on a regular basis in onsite medical emergencies and cardiac arrests.
  • A drive to promote innovative strategies to cardiac arrest prevention and the delivery of advance resuscitation techniques.
  • An internal governance structure that ensures patient safety is paramount.
  • A determination to offer relevant education to the varying members of the healthcare team with a supportive and encouraging ethos. Candidates should leave us having had a positive experience where they have been inspired to express themselves and achieve their goals.

Our Faculty

We pride ourselves on attracting quality healthcare providers with clinical credibility and experience to join our expanding faculty of instructors. We demand high standards of instructing which should be insightful and supportive to ensure our learners can leave us with a positive experience. Should you choose to join one of our courses, you will meet a group of instructors who are regionally and experientially diverse with Doctors, Nurses, ODP’s and Paramedics from the South East to the North West of the UK.

Our Venue

Unless specifically stated, our courses will be undertaken in the Grade II listed Parndon Hall (Building 2) at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow. Our aim is to provide candidates with the optimal learning environment for learning, with up to date equipment and without external distractions. Food and beverages are provided for our Advanced course candidates throughout their day. Directions can be found in the “Contact us” tab.
